Legislative History
| In January 2024, the BOS approved a compensation agreement to reimburse Rogers & Chenault for oversizing a portion of the waterline for the County's future needs.

Discussion
| The waterline alignment is within the VDOT right-of-way to the greatest degree possible, however topography, power poles and other obstructions require that the line deviate onto or close to the property lines. Temporary easements are needed for construction, and permanent easements for the life of the water line.
