Discussion
| Existing chlorine feed pumps at the Chickahominy Reclaimed Water Distribution Facility continue to leak despite continuous maintenance and service visits. The existing pump model is no longer deemed reliable due to the continuous leaks. Failure to disinfect reclaimed water would be a violation of the DEQ permit, and may result in a monetary fine. Allowing the leak to continue represents a safety hazard to employees and contractors, and is damaging the DPU assets.
